Water Damage Restoration Company Serving Eastern Massachusetts Since 1997
RestorePro is a locally owned restoration company based in Woburn, Massachusetts. We have been drying out homes and businesses across Eastern Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire, and Maine since 1997. Our technicians hold IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), which means the drying plan is built on industry standards, not guesswork.
Water spreads fast and keeps spreading. It wicks up drywall, soaks into subfloors, and settles into framing where you cannot see it. The longer it sits, the more material has to be torn out instead of dried, and the higher the repair bill and the mold risk. That is why we answer the phone live around the clock and dispatch the closest crew the moment you call.
Water Damage We Handle
- Burst and frozen pipes — New England winters split pipes in walls, attics, and crawl spaces. We extract, open up what has to be opened, and dry the structure.
- Ice dams and roof leaks — Meltwater backing up under shingles and running down inside walls and ceilings.
- Appliance and fixture failures — Water heaters, dishwashers, washing machines, toilets, and supply lines.
- Basement flooding — Sump pump failures, groundwater, and storm water. See our flooded basement cleanup service.
- Ceiling, drywall, and plaster damage — Drying, removal of unsalvageable material, and rebuild.
- Hardwood floors, carpet, and contents — Specialty drying where it can be saved, documented removal where it cannot.
- Category 1, 2, and 3 water — Clean water, gray water, and black water (sewage) each get the handling the IICRC standard requires.
- Commercial properties — Offices, retail, restaurants, and multi-unit buildings. See our commercial water damage service.
What To Do Right Now, Before We Arrive
A few minutes of the right action limits the damage. Only do what is safe.
- Shut off the water at the main valve if the source is a pipe, appliance, or fixture.
- Cut power at the breaker to any room with standing water before you step in.
- Mop and blot to remove as much water as you safely can.
- Lift wet area rugs, draperies, and fabrics off the carpet and hang them to dry.
- Prop up wet furniture cushions and put wood blocks or aluminum foil under furniture legs.
- Open drawers, closet doors, and luggage to help them dry.
- Move photos, paintings, documents, and other valuables to a dry room.
- Take photos of everything before it is moved. Your insurance adjuster will want them.
What not to do
- Do not use a household vacuum to remove water.
- Do not use electrical appliances while standing on wet floors or carpets.
- Do not go into rooms with standing water while the power is still on.
- Do not lift tacked-down carpet yourself. It can shrink and tear.
- Do not wait. Bacteria and mold growth can begin within hours.
We Handle the Insurance Claim With You
RestorePro works directly with every major insurance carrier serving New England. We handle the documentation, photo logs, dry logs, scope-of-work writing, and itemized billing required to support your claim from start to finish. You deal with one company from the first call through the final repair, because our construction supervisor licenses let us do the rebuild in-house instead of handing you off to another contractor.
Where We Work
RestorePro crews are staged in Woburn and respond across Middlesex, Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk counties, plus Southern New Hampshire. Towns we are in most often include:
Water Damage Restoration FAQ
How fast can you get here?
We answer 24/7 and dispatch the closest crew immediately. Across Eastern Massachusetts our trucks are on the road in under an hour of your call.
Do you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We bill most major carriers directly and prepare the photo logs, moisture readings, dry logs, and itemized scope your adjuster needs. You are not stuck in the middle.
How long does drying take?
Most residential water losses dry in three to five days once extraction and equipment are in place. We take moisture readings daily and pull equipment only when the readings prove the structure is dry.
Will I get mold?
Mold can start growing on wet building materials within 24 to 48 hours. Fast extraction, antimicrobial treatment, and proper drying are how we prevent it. If mold has already started, our AMRT-certified team handles the remediation.
Do you also repair the damage?
Yes. RestorePro holds Massachusetts construction supervisor licenses, so the same company that dries the building does the drywall, flooring, paint, and rebuild. No handoff to a second contractor.
What does water damage restoration cost?
Every loss is different. Size of the wet area, how long the water sat, and what materials are involved all matter. We inspect first, explain exactly what needs to happen, and most of the cost is handled through your insurance claim.
